Important information

Please bear in mind that due to the technical differences between the two platforms (e.g. traffic processing, bidding) slight differences may occur for the campaigns migrated from TONIC.

That’s why, once your campaigns have been successfully migrated to Zeropark, it’s recommended to review the following information and make sure the campaign set-up is optimized for the Zeropark platform.

In case there are more questions, please feel free to reach out to us at support@zeropark.com or contact your assigned Zeropark Account Manager.

  • Upon hovering over the icon, a relevant message will be displayed.
  • All migrated campaign names will be prefixed with “TNC”

Linking TONIC. and Zeropark accounts with Access Tokens

When migrating your campaigns from TONIC. for Advertisers to Zeropark you’ve got an option to create a new account in Zeropark via the migration tool as well as link your existing Zeropark account (if you have one already) with TONIC.

To link the two accounts via the migration tool available in TONIC. you’ll need the Zeropark account access token.

You can generate the required access token in the following way:

  1. Log into your existing Zeropark account.
  2. Go to My Account tab.
  3. Choose the Security section.
  4. Then click on Add new token option.
  5. Once the token generator window opens, name it and confirm your choice by clicking on the Generate button.
  6. Next, copy the generated token and paste it into the migration tool in TONIC.

Postback URLs and Conversions Tracking

To enable correct conversion tracking for the migrated campaigns, you need to update the previously used Postback URLs in your affiliate network and/or ad tracking solution with those generated by Zeropark.

The correct Postback URL that should be used once your campaigns start buying Zeropark traffic can be found in the last section of the campaign creation form — Tracking.

To access the new Postback URL:

  1. Simply edit the given campaign.

For more information on the Campaign Editing read here.

  2. Scroll down to the last section of the campaign creation form that is Tracking.
  3. Copy the new Postback URL generated by Zeropark and insert it into your affiliate network and/or ad tracking solution.

The {cid} parameter should be filled with the click id value. The {payout} parameter is optional. It can be used to pass there the conversion value provided by your affiliate network and/or ad tracking solution. For more information on the Zeropark Postback URL and S2S Tracking read here.Server to Server (S2S) / Postback Tracking

Tracking Tokens

During the migration process, tracking tokens that were previously set in TONIC. Are automatically adjusted to the corresponding tokens in Zeropark.

For more information on Tracking Tokens in Zeropark read here.

Please note slight differences may occur (though not for each).

  1. The destination URL structure in Zeropark differs from the one in TONIC.
  2. {Browser} and {os} tokens are populated with the same values as in TONIC.

If you have set up certain rules/paths in your tracking solution based on those tokens, everything should work the way it did before.

  3. {geo} token values remain the same.
  4. {Carrier} token values may differ.

If you have set up rules/paths in your tracking solution based on the {carrier} value, please adjust them to the corresponding Zeropark tokens.

To adjust the {carrier} token values, follow these steps:
    • Edit a given campaign

Please read here for instructions on campaign editing.

    • Once you enter the campaign creation form, scroll down to the Targeting section.
    • Click on Carrier traffic and Wi-Fi at the bottom of this section.
    • Select carriers you’d like to target with your campaign.
  5. Campaign id — After migrating your campaigns to Zeropark, the {campaign_id} token will be populated with the Zeropark id (UUID - Unique User id).

If you still need the TONIC. campaign id, there is a new parameter {tnc_campaign_id} which will pass the id of the corresponding campaign in TONIC.
