Zeropark Placement Categories Introduction

Zeropark Commerce Media Publisher Supply Transparency.

On 20 March 2024, Zeropark introduces a completely new categorization of Commerce Media supply available to our Advertisers.

It's a leap in the direction of providing all parties of the Zeropark ecosystem with 100% transparent services. We’re also excited to set a new standard of service for the industry.

With that, we can announce, that the “Search Marketplace” name you’ve been accustomed to, will no longer be visible in the Zeropark Dashboard.

Instead, all publisher placements, targets, and sources, have been categorized under one Commerce Media umbrella, and are available for a free choice of Advertisers.

It’s a huge milestone in our operations, as Zeropark continues to create a competitive, flexible, and safe advertising ecosystem.

What is the Zeropark Transparency Project?

To accommodate the needs of our demand partners, our teams have designed a new approach to the available supply, creating 10 Publisher Categories based on the type of media and placements that they offer. This allows you, as an Advertiser, to freely choose only the Publishers that suit your needs and comply with brand and/or affiliate network guidelines.

When creating a commerce media campaign, you can choose your preferred publisher placements

On top of that, Zeropark Commerce Media will offer granular data into the available volumes per chosen categories, and in future iterations, we’ll expand the scope of available data.

The biggest change you will notice in the Zeropark Dashboard is the architecture of New Campaign Creation. Upon opening the Campaign Creation Form, you’ll be able to choose the general Commerce Media ad format and dive into the Placement Categories in the newly added section of the form.

Upon release, our entire supply will comprise 10 Categories, however in the future, with Zeropark Commerce Media publisher web growing and scaling, there will be new choices added:

You’ll notice a hovering widget on the right of the campaign creation form. It will display an estimate of historical (3-day-long period) available clicks (audiences) per placement category. It should be helpful for assessment of the potential of new campaigns, but also to find out about the efficiency of your existing ones.

In all cases, we advise you to consult with our Account Manager Team to maximize your campaigns’ potential.

You may notice differences between placement categories in terms of audience volumes available. Zeropark supply is evolving, and we’re constantly working on expanding our network with tested and secure publishers. We invite you to experiment with them and keep an eye on the growing supply available.

What happens to existing campaigns?

Upon the launch of the Zeropark Commerce Media Placement Categories, all the Zeropark campaigns will need to be migrated to match the new structure. However, there is no need for Zeropark Advertisers to prepare for the migration, as our team will make sure that there will be no change in the supply accessed by your campaigns.

The changes will be safe for all existing campaigns, even the ones with meticulously prepared configurations of targets and sources. After the launch, you may notice all placement categories enabled for your campaigns, but this will not disturb the stability and reach of these. Although it may be considered a UI inconsistency, it’s the safest way to migrate existing campaigns without changing their settings. Rest assured, your supply reach will not be interrupted, unless you decide to deactivate a placement category.

In order to not lose any portion of traffic accessed, we advise contacting Zeropark Account Management or support@zeropark.com.

The changes in the Zeropark product and dashboard are of course reflected in the available API. The adequate targeting section has been added to reflect the newly introduced Placement Categories. You can find more details about them in the Zeropark API campaign creation guide for Advertisers.

Previously used MSN and Coupon targeting will be deprecated, as these segments of Zeropark supply have been turned into Placement Categories now.

Remember to not use the MSN and COUPON targetings when creating campaigns.
